Nails tell the story of where we've been, long walks, tight shoes, changing seasons. Sometimes they need support to heal and find their strength again. Abilar Nail Fungal Treatment is developed for those moments when the nail bed has become inflamed, or when mild to moderate nail fungus and cuticle infections has began to take form.
Made with highly purified spruce resin and refined through modern Nordic research, the lacquer delivers nature’s own antimicrobial defence right where it’s needed. It helps calm irritation, restores balance, and supports healthy nail growth over time.
Resin lacquer has a scientifically proven effect against dermatophytes, or ringworm fungi, which cause over 90% of human nail and skin fungal infections.
The treatment is used externally as a topical treatment. CE-marked medical device. Not suitable for people sensitive to natural resins.
Treatment of fungal infection of the nails:
If necessary, roughen the surface of the nail with a file, wash and dry before applying the product. Apply a thin layer of lacquer to the whole of the affected nail surface using the brush contained in the cap and allow it to dry. Continue treatment twice weekly until the damaged nail has been replaced by a new, healthy nail.
It is recommended to remove the old layered varnish from the nail a few times a month. Abilar Nail Fungal Treatment can be removed with a nail polish remover, an ethanol-based disinfectant or mechanically by filing. Several overlapping layers of the lacquer can darken the nail. The color goes away with the removal of the lacquer layers. If cosmetic nail polish is used during treatment, it should be removed before applying Abilar Nail Fungal Treatment.
Treatment of bacterial paronychia:
Apply a thin layer of lacquer to the whole of the affected area using the brush contained in the cap and allow it to dry. Continue treatment daily until the affected area is healed.
The treatment time ranges from a few days to 1-2 weeks for nail inflammation and 6-18 months for fungal nail infections. For external use only.
